And now finally, my most recent cover. LOL
As you can see, this one is also mine. : ) I tend to get prompted to catch up on my cover art designing posts when I have a cover of my own to share, I have noticed.
Riana had almost given up hope of ever finding her lost comrades, and friends, when the Earth-Space Initiative finally decided to send her on a fact finding mission, almost two years after Braden and Davin had gone missing. They figured it was finally safe.
They figured wrong.
Now Riana is stuck on a strange planet, with no way home, lucky to be alive after being sucked into a wormhole. And she wasn’t the only one stranded there; she had found the missing pilots. With no way home, and only themselves to answer to, they had plans for her, plan several years in the making.
Behind the Cover: Going in the this one, all I knew for certain was how I wanted the font to look. I knew exactly how I wanted it all laid out, and in what font types. I even knew that I would have to "create" a different capital H for my last name, since the font I wanted to use for it didn't have the same effect as it does for the capital N and M.
Beyond that, I knew I wanted outer space, a planet and a purple tint.
Because the story is a M/M/F one, I knew trying to get a threesome on the cover would be problematic, but I had no idea just how much so. I hate doing the superimosing of one image with another, trying to make it look realistic. Some can pull it off, unfortunatly, I can't. So I either needed a letig threesome image, or I would have to settle for a couple. That in itself caused issues. Should I go with two men? A man and a woman? What would that be saying about the story?
So finally, after consulting with the head of the cover art dept for Phaze, I went with nothing at all. Sleek, simple, and damn gorgeous. (If I do say so myself)
