Pricing Changes

I am in the middle of making a TON of pricing changes on my books.

The following stories are coming off of Amazon (you can still get various formats via Smashwords) because they are being offered FREE now:

* Castles in the Sand
* Cup of Josie
* Exposed -- if you haven't read this one, it is one of my FAVORITES of my short shorts!
* Just A Nibble vol 1 and 2
* Just A Taste vol 1 and 2
* Longing For You
* Love Among the Stars
* Nine Ball, Corner Pocket
* Paradise Valley
* Spankology 101
* Their Harem Girl
* Wandering Where Led

I have also discounted almost all of my stand alone stories (like Her Majesty's Maiden, All Alone in the Night), Private Eyes, and even my short-short story collections to $0.99 (it might take Amazon a couple of days for the price change over).

This change also affects all of my Animal Attraction, Kinky Girls Do, and A Second Chance at Love stories.  So if you have been eyeing one of them - now would be the time to check them out.

18/50

18/50.

What does it mean?

Well ... it is the ranking BLACKOUT currently holds at All Romance eBooks. It is ranked #18 out of the top 50 on the their Best Sellers list.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

I'm sure some of you are wondering why this is such a big deal for me. Well, this MM office romance story was previously released with the now defunct Noble Romance. During the almost three years it was with them, it sold maybe 3-5 copies each month. I always worried the low sales/interest was a reflection of the story, which bothered me because I LOVE this story.

So to see it doing so well as a re-release really makes me feel good.

Blackout

Whoohoo! BLACKOUT has quickly climbed the charts at All Romance eBooks and is now rated as a Bestseller.

It's # 42 out of 50, but hey - considering just how many books are available, I am tickled pink ... and purple.

If you haven't already check out BLACKOUT ...

BLACKOUT

It's hell being in love with someone who doesn't know you're alive.  Or rather, who doesn't see you as anything more than an employee.  Just when he worked up the nerve to give his notice, a blackout trapped Alec with his boss, leaving him to explain to Nicholas why he has to leave a job he loves -- because he loves his boss more.  He had it all worked out, except for Nicholas' reaction.

5 Hearts!!!

Oh my goodness! The Romance Studio reviewed BLACKOUT and rated it EXCELLENT!!!

I am overwhelmed!

"Alec and Nick are in love with each other, and yet, they are afraid to say anything about their feelings. Until one night...when Mother Nature decides to intervene.
I will admit it, I am not normally a fan of same-sex romance, mainly because of the fact that I seldom come across one that I feel is well written. I was extremely surprised when, not only did I enjoy 'Blackout', I found myself re-reading it twice more before I wrote this review. Alec's doubts, Nick's insecurities, their fantasies -- all came together to create a book that I will continue to enjoy for a long time to come. I loved the idea of using a city-wide heat wave, followed by a city-wide blackout, to get these two men into a situation where they are forced to confront, not only themselves, but the other person as well. 'Blackout' has earned a permanant place within my TBR mountain. "

1st review for Blackout!

The first official review for Blackout is in!

Seriously Reviewed said: "Blackout plays on two well-explored topics, power outage and workplace romance. But Ms. Houston has done it with a fresh voice and a vividly described setting. [...] I totally fell for Alec from the moment he’s introduced. The longing he feels for his boss, Nicholas is emotional and deeply felt. I could feel the ache through the pages…and the fear. Ms. Houston has penned a titillating story that while short, delivers on emotion, characters, a plot and a resolution. And some hot male on male sex."

They gave it really good marks on story and presentation!

New cover art - Blackout!

I got the cover art in for my June 21st release, BLACKOUT, a first for me from Noble Romance.

Blackout is a "Hot Hot Hot" M/M erotic romance (as my editor described it). LOL

A new place to find my writings ...

It's been a while since I have posted, I know. Mainly because I am heading in to finals crunch time and I simply have little to no spare time.

But I just had to set aside studying to announce that I signed my first contract with Noble Romance!

The story that was contracted is called BLACKOUT.

My pub date is set for June 21st, and I will let you know when/if that changes.
