As I have mentioned before, when I go on vacation, if there is a zoo available, I try to visit it.
While I was in Belize, on our free day where some of us went tubing, we also visited the Belize Zoo. Now this isn't a traditional zoo. All of the animals are native to the area; they're just not ones you would see often, since they live within the depths of the rain forest.
