Holy moly! I just got a frickin' FANTASTIC review for Blood Slave.
"What would be the ultimate accomplishment for a writer? I suppose there can't be only one answer to that question, but surely the achievement of making the reader near weep with sympathy for a plight he or she could not possibly have understood before the reading must count among the possible replies. Blood Slave accomplishes this, and then some."
